TubeMate YouTube Downloader: Tubemate is a mobile application used to download videos from YouTube. The application allows the user to download videos from YouTube in different qualities ranging from High Definition to the Standard Definition i.e. (1080p to 360p). But devices with High Configuration can be able to download HD Videos but for normal devices Standard definition is available. If the devices with low configuration want to download High Definition Videos, they need another application which converts the videos after download and makes it compatible to work with the device.

The figure above displays the video playing and the green color arrow above the video help to download the video and the list below the video is the playlist, and when the user hits the download button, the list of available qualities is shown as shown in the figure below.
The user can select the quality, that’s it the download starts and it will be saved to the external or internal storage device as per the user’s device configuration and when the download starts the user can pause the download or limit the download speed and as shown in the figure above and the user can also download videos in audio formats. To download the audio formats, you need to install another application which converts the video into audio format and enables us to play without any problem.
In the options tab, you can refresh the page, you can share the page, you can customize the list of downloads by adding a folder, you can sort out the videos in the playlist. If you pause a video you can resume it directly from that menu you need not go to the list and resume the download, and if you want to pause the video, you can pause it directly from here. If you are browsing some other website and you wanted to go directly to YouTube you can tap on that button, it redirects to the homepage of YouTube. In the preferences tab, you can change the settings of the application.

There are few changes to be done on your mobile phone to install the applications from external sources.
If you have downloaded the application on PC:
- Connect your mobile to the PC via USB cable.
- Copy the application to the external storage of the device.
- Disconnect the mobile safely.
If you have downloaded the application directly on the mobile using the mobile browser, then we can install the application directly.
Follow these Steps to Install Tubemate for Android Devices:
Before installing application on the mobile, there are few settings to be changed on your mobile, to enable allowing applications install from external sources (third party apps)
- To do so, go to Settings > Security > Unknown Resources (enable it so that it allows the applications to install from Unknown Sources).
- Now the application downloaded on the desktop can be copied to the SD card in the mobile (for PC download) via USB cable.
- Go to the location where the application is downloaded (for mobile download)
- Tap the application and click on install.
- Now the application will be installed on the mobile as the permissions in Android are changed.
For MIUI users to enable applications to install from external sources or to disable 10 seconds timer before you install an app manually, follow the steps below
- Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Device Administration > Scan Third Party Apps.
- In that dropdown select doesn’t use, this disables the 10 seconds timer before you install an application from external source.
Note: By following these steps of installation does not root your mobile, these are the steps to make few changes in the settings to install applications from external sources, and it is safe. If you want to revert the changes follow the same steps and disable Unknown Resources.
